Jason de Caires Taylor (hay Jason Taylor) sinh năm 1974. Cha ông là người Anh c̣n mẹ là người Guyanese. Ông đă từng sống tại châu Âu, châu Á và Caribe. Năm 1998, Jason tốt nghiệp Đại học Nghệ thuật London. Ông cũng là người hướng dẫn lặn dạn dày kinh nghiệm. Jason đă thành công khi kết hợp cả 2 sở trường của ḿnh vào công việc sáng tạo nghệ thuật.
